The Center is committed to working with doctors, hospitals, health care practices, and the community to instill greater knowledge of and sensitivity toward the unique health care needs of the GLBT people, and to ensure higher-quality health care for them.

Throughout this site, you’ll find information and tools designed to inform health care providers about the unique health care issues facing members of the GLBT community. For example, tools in the Cultural Competency section provide solid suggestions for making your health care practice more GLBT-friendly, including specific questions that you can add to your patient intake forms.
